Lectors

Lectors should have a strong, clear speaking voice and the confidence to proclaim Scripture with reverence and understanding. They must be actively participating in their faith and are committed to deepening their relationship with Christ. A willingness to prepare through prayer, study, and reflection on the readings is essential, as is the ability to convey the meaning and significance of the Word of God to the congregation. Lectors should also be comfortable standing before the assembly, demonstrating both humility and respect for the sacred role they fulfill in the Liturgy. Lectors are scheduled approximately once a month.
