Safe Families for Children
Mission
Safe Families for Children (SFFC) is a national movement of compassion led by families who practice biblical hospitality giving hope to families in crisis. Collaborating with Olive Crest, this ministry seeks to support at-risk children and parents in need by providing an extended network of support that helps stabilize and strengthen vulnerable families through early intervention.
There are many ways to participate in this ministry including:

• hosting a child in your home for a short period of time
• giving to the SFFC ministry or purchasing tangible resources for a child or family such as clothing or school supplies
• encouraging and praying for a parent who is struggling
• providing a meal, childcare, transportation or respite for a host family
• helping with logistics and sharing information with ministry members and our church family
Qualifications and Skills Needed
A desire to serve and support vulnerable children and families in our midst as disciples of Jesus Christ, rooted in Gospel values and our rich Catholic social tradition.
Time Required
There are many ways to get involved and be a part of this wonderful ministry depending on your availability and what you feel called to do: Host Family? Family Friend? Family Coach? Resource Friend?
