About
The Parish Safety Ministry works to provide a safe and secure environment for parishioners and visitors who gather to worship God. Specific focus areas include natural disaster (fire, tornado, earthquake); medical response and first aid, physical security, and education and training. The Committee works closely with USD Campus Police and Department of Emergency Services to coordinate actions and responses.
How
Upcoming efforts will include Beacon flyers and announcements, an Immaculata “Safety-Focus Month” and parish- wide training opportunities on topics such as earthquake response, evacuation sites, CPR and first aid, and responding to disruptive behaviors.
