Rev. Matthew D. Spahr

Pastor

Whether you are simply surfing the internet or seeking a parish home, it is a pleasure to welcome you to The Immaculata. We are a Roman Catholic faith community in the Diocese of San Diego. Our parish name is derived from the Latin title for Mary, the Mother of Jesus, as the Immaculate Conception. Most people who come to The Immaculata are immediately struck by the beauty of our church building and its setting on the University of San Diego campus. I like to think that the beauty of our building is reflected in the beauty of our faith community. As our mission statement states, we seek to be “a beacon of faith and a spiritual home to all who seek God.” You are most welcome to visit our parish either for one of our Masses or for quiet prayer. If you are interested in becoming Catholic or joining our parish please reach out to our parish staff and join us celebrating the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ!
